"I've always been a cowgirl and a bit of a tomboy," says Rhonda, a country girl and the the owner of Cowgirl Ugly.
"I was born in a small town in California and now I'm living and doing business in a small town in Arizona."
"I have worn and loved cowgirl and boy boots since I was very young, and I've always had this dream
to have a place to sell boots & cowgirl accessories. Walking into Cowgirl Ugly is much like walking
into a rustic but cozy home where you can sit and relax while trying on boots and accessories.
"I chose the lines I wanted to sell by what I love to wear and what gets lots of compliments.
We thought of the name... we, meaning my husband, my brother, and me... Well, we came up with the name
on a warm summer night sitting around on the porch sipping tequila & drinking some cold ones."
Rhonda's Cowgirl Ugly is located in an area where Cowboys & Cowgirls still exist, and
where working cattle ranches are going strong. Ranches still exist that were once owned
and visited by great American Cowboys like John Wayne & Stewart Granger.
Rhonda adds, "If you're ever in southern Arizona, look us up."
Cowgirl Ugly is located in Historic Tubac, Arizona.
